ANSWERS

What do I eat in restaurants, when traveling or with friends?

I never tire of emphasizing that I don't want to convince anyone. Everyone can decide what they value according to their own priorities and within the scope of their individual possibilities. If you are looking for confirmation that the 6 SENSES CUISINE is not suitable for everyday use, then you can stop reading here.

For those who are interested, I have three possible scenarios from my own life.

Restaurant visit

Ingredients and preparation techniques in restaurants rarely correspond to the 6 SENSES CUISINE because even in upmarket restaurants the focus is usually on "it has to be cheap first". So if I'm in a restaurant at lunchtime with business partners or friends, for example, I usually eat nothing.

While the others have their mouths full, someone has to keep the conversation going anyway :-)

In the evening in a restaurant, on the other hand, I like to enjoy a glass of red wine if there is a really good wine on the menu.

There are two options for family celebrations in restaurants: The restaurateurs prepare something especially for us, or even easier: we deliver something pre-cooked to them the day before, which they just have to heat up.

Traveling

As I have often written elsewhere, I rarely need to eat anything anymore.

And when I do eat something, it has to be really good.

I like to take something from home with me on short (business) trips: TOBIO bread, a bottle of olive oil, coconut chips, pistachios, hard sausages* and, depending on the season, possibly some cheese** are no problem to take with you on many trips. For my family and me, vacations in a motorhome or in apartments with their own kitchen have proven to be a good idea. We don't need the supposed "luxury" of a hotel (anymore).

*from grass-fed animals, without nitrite curing salt, without chili, etc. 6 SINS compatible natural.
**not from cows of course ;-)

When it "may" or "should" be done

There are of course situations where someone wants to cook for us or I am dependent on external catering. Fasting has a number of interesting health benefits, but it also has its limits. I once started writing a red/green list for committed friends and restaurateurs, which I have expanded over time with recipes. My book was created from this foundation. A page from the book is quickly copied and shared with friends.

How consistently someone wants to follow this path is an individual decision.

I have discovered the possibilities behind it for myself and have learned to appreciate them so much that there are no more compromises for me.

It's certainly not for everyone. And the bottom line is that it's a question of quantity and not all harmful ingredients are equally harmful. And we can "buffer" some nutrients over a longer period of time.

The thing with the exception

Everyone will be aware of the other extreme: If every day is an exception, new German: "cheat day", you can hardly expect any major leaps. Even if you shouldn't underestimate the placebo effect...
