BUT THE

TOMATE

IS SO

HEALTHY?

When I present my nutritional philosophy, some people immediately go into massive resistance. One of the main reasons for this:

I don't eat tomatoes 😱

Yet it is always said that tomatoes are so healthy for the heart & co...
So where does this contradiction come from? (Because tomatoes originally came to the western world as ornamental plants because of their beautiful flowers...)

LYKOPIN

This substance, which belongs to the carotenoids, has been studied in detail, is responsible for the red color and actually has an anti-inflammatory effect - see, for example, the study here:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35216071/

However, tomatoes are not 100% lycopene

Instead, there are also other polyphenols, water etc., some of which have been found to be positive, but also other substances whose negative effects seem to predominate when tomatoes are consumed:

☣️Lektine

Are a group of plant "food toxins" that are associated with almost all "diseases of civilization":

☣️Solanin

With a toxicity index LD50 of 43mg/kg, this substance is

Have you ever noticed that children in particular often get itching in the mouth/throat, canker sores or a rash after eating tomatoes...

...and often reject them "by nature"?

The effect also affects adults... 😒

And let's be honest: a pizza without tomato sauce tastes great and mild (less acidic) 😍

PS: Lycopene is not the only positive active ingredient found in plants... Things like quercetin and berberine (to name just two prominent examples) have great effects and are found in plants that are not toxic to humans...

"PRACTICALLY ALL MY PATIENTS BECAME DEMONSTRABLY HEALTHY THANKS TO A LOW-LECTIN, LECTIN-FREE DIET.

THEIR INFLAMMATION LEVELS FELL BELOW THE DETECTION LIMIT.
